Venus

Some women really are from Venus…

A pin-up from outer space! Trying for something new style-wise, I decided to go for a comic book-ish/sci-fi mag feel with this. I don't usually draw "inked" lines so it was unusual for me, but I really like the way she turned out in the end. Kind of an old illustration, it was one of my first fully-digital illustrations, much later I reworked and cropped a bit (the original was fully body/kneeling, but I just didn't like it that way). I think of all the skin I've ever painted, I love hers the best. I had a lot of fun with the color and texture. Makes me want to paint more in this style.
